The hard working Co-founders

  • Neha Jetley: Co-founder & CEO - Neha founded and ran a fintech startup in the financial inclusion space between 2011 and 2019. Her company, EZspend was a Business Correspondent, first with YES Bank and then with RBL where they distributed domestic remittance services, prepaid cards and AePS with the Bank through last mile banking at kirana stores. EZspend has a network of 11,000+ outlets in Delhi, Haryana, UP and Punjab. Pre demonitization, EZspend was doing a volume of INR 150 cr on a monthly basis across the three products with remittance being the largest chunk. The business eventually wound up due to the effects of demonitization, GST and lack of funding, competition from well funded companies such as Paytm and Mobikwik. Neha graduated with a Bachelors in Finance and Accounting from Boston University and was featured in the IFC Report on Investing in Women as a Women Entrepreneur in March 2017. She was a key speaker on a panel moderated by Richard Quest from CNN at the World Forum for FDI in Sydney in June 2019.

  • Sonal Kadchha: Co-founder & Chief Strategist - British born with Kenyan-Indian roots, Sonal read Chemical Engineering at Queens’ College Cambridge, where she graduated with a First Class with honors. She set up a charity called Educating The Children (ETC) in 2008 after visiting the Masai Mara and noticed the lack of resources. Whilst running ETC, she also worked in the Financial Services sector for 15 years in London, Asia & Africa. She spent the last 4 years of her corporate career working for Prudential plc in Sub Saharan Africa as Head of Bancassurance. Sonal is part of the “Extra Mile 40”, a list of 40 people in finance in the city of London, recognised by the eFinancial News, who go further for good causes. Sonal was also a finalist for Clarins “Woman of the year” 2017 which recognizes the UK’s most visionary charity pioneers.

  • Arjun Mallik: Co-founder, Advisor and Board Member - Arjun is Managing Director of Prudential East Africa. He has been with the Prudential Group for 10 years, and a member of the Prudential Africa team since its inception. Arjun previously worked in private equity and has a BA in Economics from Eckerd College (USA) and an MBA from Instituto de Empresa (Spain). Arjun chairs the Market Growth Committee for Ugandan Insurance Association and serves on several boards including Code Queen   - Arjun is Managing Director of Prudential East Africa. He has been with the Prudential Group for 10 years, and a member of the Prudential Africa team since its inception. Arjun previously worked in private equity and has a BA in Economics from Eckerd College (USA) and an MBA from Instituto de Empresa (Spain).
